Biography
After graduating from Yale Law School in 2012, Katherine Oberembt moved to the Bluff City and began a career defending the people of Memphis and Shelby County. For more than a decade, she has represented clients charged with all levels of criminal offenses, with a particular focus on serious felony charges, including First Degree Murder. Time and time again, Katherine has achieved favorable outcomes for her clients, including dismissals, by filing comprehensive and innovative motions, marshalling expert witnesses in her clients’ defense, and artfully negotiating advantageous settlements.
