Kimberly Avery Patterson

My cousin fired Attorney Patterson because she never returned her phone calls and seemed as if she didn’t care regarding her case. She totally abandoned her case which is a violation of attorneys' ethical obligations. Her office didn’t have a secretary or at least when we arrived there wasn’t one. ... We should have known something was wrong when there was no sign outside her law firm. After finally finding her firm we couldn’t tell if it was a haunted house or an abandoned one. She did not seem focused on the case. She made bizarre off comments to my cousin that had nothing to do with the case asking her, “how do she stay so skinny?” My cousin is attractive and thin but that had nothing to do with the case. I was taken aback and begged my cousin (which she did) to find another attorney. We both felt she was strangely jealous, unprofessional, a little off and afraid she wasn’t focused enough to represent her. My cousin found a better attorney but unfortunately she was out of more money in doing so.
