Joseph Duane Barton

Details were provided very clearly to Mr Barton. I hired him in Hope's of resolving a case that put me through emotional distress . My therapist provided him documentation and made him aware of my medical condition. I was having much anxiety the day of the court date & did not speak to defend myself ...in hopes my lawyer, Mr Barton would defend me. Afterwards, we did not win the case & Mr Barton insulted me in front of the false "victim" & advised me I failed to provide him sufficient information, all on our way out the building. I had tears in my eyes, among keeping me anxiety in order. One month near the next court date, I called to to inform him that the false "victim" was harassing/taunting me. He advised me to get a public defender and hung up. Two days near the next court date he reaches out, unsure of who I was, then asked me did I need an attorney. I reminded him who I was & what he said to me & how he treated me. He then advised me that he was not the attorney to assist me.
