Amber Griffin Shaw

Raised in McNairy County and now residing in Tipton County, Amber travels throughout Tennessee working to help people, particularly in rural communities. Her practice is focused on complex litigation, including catastrophic injury claims (such as car wrecks); products liability injuries (people injured by a product); people affected by fraud; businesses; and county and municipal issues around the region. Trial work has shaped her practice over the last 17 years, and she has tried cases in Shelby, Dyer, Tipton, Lauderdale, Hardeman, McNairy, DeSoto, Wayne, and Madison counties – even traveling into Middle Tennessee and Mississippi when needed.

Prior to joining Harris Shelton, Amber practiced with her longtime mentor and former law partner, the venerable J. Houston Gordon, for 12 years. Handling both jury and bench trials, Ms. Shaw considers it a privilege to represent people at a time that is often difficult and overwhelming.
