If I could have left zero stars , I would have. I hired Karen Jarnigan to represent me in an appeal for SSDI not SSI. In my hearing, I even had my psychiatrist show up to verify my condition. I 100% qualified for SSDI but the reason i was first denied (didn’t have an attorney) they denied me due ...to not being able to read his medical records on me. This is why I had my psychiatrist attend the hearing which is an unbelievable feat to began with. Good luck getting a MD to testify at a disability hearing to began with which I handled on my own with no help from Jarnigan. She was not ready at all for my hearing. She couldn’t have even reviewed my file as she was clueless. The judge made the hearing extremely confusing and Jarnigan did nothing to straighten out the confusion except sit there and let me try to explain along with my doctor. I am no attorney but honestly i handled everything and didn’t even need her looking back. All she did was make it worse. If i had had an adequate attorney, i am convinced i would have been approved. however, Long story short, the judge denied my SSDI, but possibly SSI?. After the hearing was over, i was furious and Karen Jarnigan told me to basically take a hike and i was lucky to get what I got which was basically nothing. After i went to another attorney Stephen Hyder after this happened and he told me he couldn’t believe how my case was handled and Jarnigan shouldn’t even have a law degree. Trust me when you read this, there is nothing that’s not true. Jarnigan’s receptionist/assistant was a nightmare as well which looking back I should have fired her then.

I hired her right before the time for my court date on my Social Security Disability claim. She took care of calling Social Security and getting us more time to get ready. She got the ball rolling for me and if it wasn't for her and her team I would not have gotten it. She knew just what to do to ...help me. I thank God for letting us meet and for all that she has done.
