Donald Kelly Vowell

Around thirty years ago I had the privilege of hiring Don Vowell as our attorney involving a case with the company that I owed with my brother. We immediately liked Mr. Vowell, and we both decided that we wanted him as our go to attorney. Over the next twenty years of business, we had more than our... share of opportunities to use Mr Vowell's services. He was always there for us. Always supportive, knowledgeable, and capable of guiding us to make some very tough decisions. Not only did Don Vowell earn our respect and confidence, he would, also, earn the respect of opposing Attorneys. They discovered that Mr Vowell had extensive knowledge of the law, and he was extremely capable in communicating this knowledge both written and verbally. I could write a book about our experiences with Don Vowell, but let me just say this: there is no better feeling when you are experiencing the fear of the unknown than to be able to call on your Champion (knowing that you have the very best). Don was our attorney in a complicated and long-running suit, and I have never seen anything quite like it. He was a bulldog, and long after I thought we were lost he kept at it, through two appeals, and actually won the case. I had not really thought the suit was winnable, but I do not know if Don ...ever gave winning any thought. I believe he was entirely driven by what he thought was right. He believed in the case and, believing in it, he was relentless.
