Andrew Reece Brassler

After practicing for three years in New York City, Reece returned to Tennessee to serve his hometown community.  Reece primarily practices commercial litigation representing corporate and individual clients in court, arbitration and mediation in matters involving business divorces, contract disputes, construction litigation, and intellectual property infringement, but is also adept in a wide array of other, non-litigation matters and prides himself on resolving disputes before they turn into suits.

As a litigator, Reece has represented clients from all fields in high-value arbitrations and litigations and obtained successful results through strategic motion practice and zealous advocacy.  As a transactional attorney, Reece has conducted trademark background searches and filed various marks for small businesses and individual client and advised clients ranging from online education start-ups to filmmakers on a variety of copyright issues. He also has experience litigating matters concerning the Uniform Trade Secret Act and intellectual property theft. Reece has the knowledge and experience to help you protect your business's identity and your creative works.

Before joining his prior law firm in New York, Reece worked in-house at CH Media where he supported general counsel in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements, clearing digital content, and researching copyright, employment, and trademark issues. He also served as a legal advisor and video-podcast producer at a New York digital media start-up where he oversaw operations and researched and drafted topical materials for interviews with guests from the fashion and tech industries.

While in New York, Reece was an active member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association’s (“NYIPLA”) Copyright Law & Practice and Trademark Law & Practice groups, Reece has assisted drafting of an Amicus Brief in a seminal Trademark case heard by the Supreme Court of the United States, contributed to NYIPLA’s PodBites Podcast, and regularly drafts articles on notable Trademark Decisions for NYIPLA’s The Report.
