also known as Pat Stapleton
Hi, may name is Pat Stapleton and I have been practicing law in Sevier County and East Tennessee generally since 1997, primarily in the areas of real property litigation and construction litigation. At the end of 2021, I left litigatioin practice to become a title attorney and shareholder at Smoky Mountain Title, Inc.
I have been married to my beautiful wife since 1995, and we have twototally awesome kids. My favorite way to spend time outside of my office is to be with my family on whatever adventure comes up. One thing I know for certian is that I was put on this earth to be a father, and I jealously guard my time with my family.

Highly recommended attorney!
Mr. Stapleton represented me in a real estate matter. He was very professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I felt I was in good hands. I did a good bit of research and called other attorneys before making it to Mr. Stapleton. One thing I learned is that he is well respected i...
"I have had the pleasure of knowing J. Patrick “Pat” Stapleton, over the past approximately eighteen (18) years as my friend, colleague, confidant, and finally, in the capacity as my own legal counsel in a seven (7) year protracted complex business litigation (we won). I hold Pat Stapleton in high esteem as to his professional abilities and have referred numerous clients to him over the years, especially in regard to complex business litigation and technical business issues, who have remained loyal to him over the course of several years, and who are very pleased with his work. Pat is hard working, intelligent, and kind, yet a keen litigator and negotiator. He is very skilled and I have great faith and confidence in his abilities. I would highly recommend Pat for any of your legal needs."
"I strongly endorse Pat Stapleton. He is one of the most hard-working, diligent lawyers I know. Pat is a brilliant tactician who knows how to use every arrow in his quiver to achieve the best result for his clients. He is also well-respected by all of the judges sitting in Sevier County. I do not routinely practice in Sevier County courts, but when I do, the first thing I do is hire Pat to be co-counsel. His presence lends immense credibility to whatever matter I may be working on. You cannot go wrong with Pat."
"I have known Pat since I was 14 years old. He always wanted to be an attorney, and it's clear he made a good career choice. I have on several occasions referred clients with issues in Knoxville area his way and have never heard anything but positives. I fully endorse Pat as an attorney and person."
