Candyce Nicole Leeper

I hired Candyce Leeper in 2018 to take care of a real estate matter. I had entered into a contract to purchase a home from a private party. I gave her my down payment, paid the property taxes and insurance to her directly and never missed a payment. During the horrible storms we had in 2015 my home t...ook on major damage. Considering my name was not yet on the deed (which was wrong) I was unable to get insurance on my own, Upon contacting the party I was purchasing from about the damage, she called the insurance and they came out and accessed the damage. I continued to call the owner because I had not heard anything about the damage and she would constantly put me off. All the while I had black mold growing on the ceiling in my laundry room, not to mention water leaking from an overhead light in the laundry room when it rained. I contacted Ms. Leeper and hired her to represent me and my interest in the property. Ms. Leeper found out that the insurance company had paid the claim directly to the party I was buying the home from and they did NONE of the repairs. Ms. Leeper also learned that due to the insurance pay out in 2015. The insurance had been cancelled and the taxes were not being paid! And no other insurance company would insure the house with the current damage. Long story short, the house ended up becoming condemned due to the black mold Ms. Leeper was able to get my down payment back, all of the insurance monies I had paid over the 4 year period, the taxes I had paid over the 4 year period, as well as damages for my personal property that had been ruined. I was also released from my obligation to buy the house due to breach of contract on the part of the seller. Ms. Leeper and her staff were superb in responding to my phone calls and walking me through the entire process. I was treated with the utmost respect and really felt that Ms. Leeper was looking out for my best interest. I have since hired her to set up my will and trust.

We hired Counselor Leeper for an adoption of our boys. Who had been in our care for over eight years. This adoption was very complicated, and we had many obstacles to overcome. The children were placed with us by DSC, but DSC left the scene many years ago. Ms. Leeper and her staff went the extra mile... for our family and we are now the proud legal parents of children. Every call received a response, and we were informed and updated every step of the way!
