Biography
Michael graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2009 following his graduating Cum Laude from Carson Newman College with his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and in Religion. Following Law School, Michael returned to his hometown of Sevierville where he has been an attorney since 2010.
Michael has spent his career focused on family and criminal law. He has represented hundreds of individuals in all areas of family law including contested family matters such as divorces, child custody, adoptions and child support issues. Michael has also fought vigorously for the rights of the accused and has gotten numerous dismissals on numerous charges such as DUI, Assaults and Drug Possessions and Sales.
Michael is a licensed Rule 31 Mediator focusing on contested family law litigation. Michael has successfully helped mediate and settle numerous disputed divorce and custody cases. Michael is also licensed in Federal Court where he maintains a successful practice helping individuals with Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
