Help with landlord tenant issue

Worked with his office to resolve ongoing issues with my landlord. The landlord failed to make repairs. David’s office was very helpful. They explained which issues were actionable and which were not. Ultimately, a demand letter was written to the landlord and the owners. This resolved many of the is...sues and greatly improved the situation l.

Consultation

Needed advice about options for incorporation that would be best for me. A family member suggested David Stuart's practice. I was provided a number of options with the pros and cons clearly explained. Felt like I received clear and impartial advice.

Great attorney - family business

I spoke with David several times about some issues I was having with my family business. He is very knowledgeable, engaging, and seems to genuinely care.

Do not hire for family law

He was very unproffessional and did not follow through with anything he said he would. He would never return phone calls or emails. Even in person, he would not answer any questions you might have. He is alwasy "in a meeting" or "out of town" and his paralegal will tell you that he will forward the m...essage, but you never hear anything. He is expensive, and not worth it for family law. I do not know how well of a lawyer he is regarding any other type of case, but this was my opionion of him. I ended up hiring another attorney before my trial date.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
