Hired him in November 2019 to do 3 specific things: 1) Attempt to negotiate a lump sum settlement of child support arrears with the custodial parent. If this was unsuccessful, so be it. 2) Petition the court to enforce child visitation I was not receiving from the mother (the custodial parent) 3)... Petition the court to recalculate the child support to pay based on my actual income As far as I can tell, he only made the phone call to my ex-wife. He claims he filed my child support motion during the height of Covid, but has not produced documentation of such, nor have I had a hearing. I haven't seen my children in 8+ years, needless to say, he did not petition the court to enforce visitation. I've attempted to visit his office numerous times, and each time the door has a flip sign indicating closed, and no vehicles in his employee parking area, so no secretary/paralegal. I cannot say whether or not he is a competent attorney, since he didn't do any of the attorney things I paid him to do. Just a single phone call.

He's a great attorney that I can honestly say I've used for several years. He's always done an amazing job for me with great outcomes. From being sued to getting my divorce done , and alot in-between. I'd stand by this man in any court room.. Not only do I recommend him I recognize him as one of the... best. My husband has been in county jail for over a year. Carl Roberts is his attorney (as of right now) and hasn't showed up for FOUR court dates. I havent heard anything from him, hes never came to see my husband. HE SHOULD BE FIRED. My husband was supposed to sign his plea deal months ago & if carl woul...d've showed up for court he would already be home with us. Now when my husband goes back to court & tells the judge he has fired Mr Roberts its gonna take another couple months for them to now appoint him an attorney & catch himself up on the case in order to represent my husband properly & professionally! I highly regret the decision to hire this man. Dont waste your time, cause I promise he will waste yours!
