Dog Bite Victim

My Daughter was brutally attacked by a Dog that wondered onto our property, this lead to extreme stress and very expensive Medical Bills. We was turned down by three Lawyers in Kingsport, TN but, I was not going to give up that easy for my Daughter. I found Mr. Meade and scheduled an appointment to t...alk with him about the Case. I could tell when Mr. Meade heard what we had to say and seen my Daughter along with the pictures we presented to him that he was truly humbled by our experience. Mr. Meade told us that it is possiable that we were turned down by the other Lawyers because Dog Bite Cases are very hard to win. He told us that even though it is a long shot that he would take our case for the simple reason that he wanted to help my Daughter. He even told us that if we lose we would not owe him anything. This Man took the time to piece together a Case mainly to help us, a Family of three with one on the way, a lower middle income family just trying to work and provide a decent life for our children. He won the case for us. He was always fair to us and completely honest. I would recommend Evan Meade to anyone even if we lost the case. It was evident that he wanted to win for us more than for himself. Since then I have had other legal questions and and did not blow me off, he was still very helpful.

Worst lawyer ever

I am a former client who hired this lawyer in a personal injury suit from a car wreck. I gave his firm all of the collection bills from the wreck (that I was not at fault), and his firm was supposed to pay them with the money from the settlement. Not only did we not receive anything from a $11,000+ ...settlement, but years later, we are still paying off bills that his firm did not pay, even though they were supposed to, per the agreement. It has hurt our credit deeply, and when we contacted him about the issue, he said it was not his problem, that his firm did everything they were supposed to do. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
