Jerry Jerome Fabus Jr.

My family retained Jerry Fabus to represent our son in a legal matter and now realize the outcome could not have been worse had my son choose to represent himself. Jerry never conducted one face-face meeting with my son prior to court. Jerry filed motions without consent from my son. Furthermore, Jer...ry failed to inform my son of his need to hire a court recorder so there is no official record of court proceedings; this fact eliminated any chance of success on appeal to a higher court. Jerry repeatedly told my son the matter was insignificant and he most likely would only receive a “slap on the wrist” from the judge. Jerry showed up in court with only a blank legal pad and pencil. My son received the maximum sentence allowed by the law. The results of Jerry Fabus’ incompetence has had a devastating impact on our entire family. Reader be ware; do not retain the incompetence attorney under any circumstance.

I personally caution anyone against using Mr. Fabus. Mr. Fabus, although intelligent, comes across as distracted, distant, ill prepared, arrogant, and self consumed. I speak from personal experience and this is simply THE TRUTH. You’ll get more bang for your buck self representing. Mr. Fabus may have... been a decent lawyer at one time but that time is no more. Stay aware my friends.

%100 Disappointing. I felt like I was dealing with my ex all over again. Everything i say is wrong, Took personal offense to every other sentence i made. And it would take 4 sentences to explain why he shouldn't have got offended at the first sentence. Refused to do any homework on the case with 2 we...eks until court hearing. Would Not hear any evidence i dug up. His strategy is to take the 1st plea that comes his way. He was unable to see through the opposing councils lies and exaggerations and would believe the opposing councils gossip %100 over my facts.. Has even admitted to me in an email that, If you wanna fight this case, I am Not you Guy. So, If you need someone to take the 1st plea offered and Not fight for you,,, but give You resistance at every step you try to make,,, Jerry is your guy. His soft hands will make your hearing go very easy and smooth, for anyone but you :O) %100 Disappointment

I would highly recommend Mr. Fabus. He was very responsive and either answered the phone himself or almost immediately returned all our calls. This was extremely important to me because we live in FL and our case was in TN. Mr. Fabus was very sensitive to our needs and our situation, he was an outsta...nding professional in the courtroom and several actions he made before the hearing even started ending up saving us enough money to pay our legal fees. He is a family man who showed a genuine care and interest in us as a family and not just as a client. You cannot go wrong by at least speaking to him before making a decision on an attorney.
