Wow

Would not accept my case because her fee wouldn't be large enough. So what happened to helping people? Oh, I could have paid her fee and she never even asked.

Poor communication

Mrs. Green does not seem to have a large clientele, but still took days (3-5) to return emails and phone calls. In my case, she was never clear on what she was doing to help move the case along, I was eventually dropped after she assumed I returned to work. (I had not). I was scheduled for a hearing ...she wasn't prepared for, scheduled a second hearing with no explanation and while waiting on the 2nd hearing she withdrew from my case. I tried to hire another attorney and Mrs Green refused to transfer her fee to the new attorney which made me unrepresented in my disability hearing. The paperwork I received from her was incomplete and I feel that I lost 3 1/2 years of wages from a disability because I chose the wrong attorney.

The review stems from my refusal to further participate in an obvious fraud that this individual was committing against the federal government. In response, I did not assume this individual was working. I knew for a fact that this person was working "under the table". I observed the individual walking into a place of business on a daily basis and staying for the full work day. This individual furthermore answered the phone at the business on numerous occasions. I withdrew from this case as soon as I realized this fraud was occurring as I refuse to participate in fraud. This individual was routinely advised as to the status of the case, and at no time did it ever take 3-5 days for a response. I was extremely prepared for the first hearing and prepared an extensive brief regarding the facts in the case. The 2nd hearing was necessary because the judge wanted testimony from a medical expert to further clarify some technical issues in the case. This individual was advised numerous times as to the reason for the second hearing, both via email and phone calls. At no point did I impede this person's desire to find another attorney, and in fact provided this individual a complete copy of the file so that this individual could retain other counsel. I did an extensive amount of work on this case for which I received no compensation whatsoever, and in fact this individual still owes almost $80 in payment for medical records which were ordered and submitted to Social Security As for me not having a large "clientele", my practice is limited to disability work. I strive on giving my client's individualized attention. So while I may not have a huge firm, my clients always comment on how they have never felt like a number.

"Donna Green is one of the very best social security disability attorneys that I know. She is not only one of the best in Chattanooga, or Tennessee, but one of the best in the country. If I or one of my family members needed help with a social security case, and my own office could not handle the case, Donna Green would be my first choice for an attorney to help. Donna Green's dedication to her social security clients and her cases is second to none. She is one of the very best attorneys that I know."
