Contacted Wooden Law Firm to draft an offer letter for a home purchase. After a full week of not receiving it, I contacted another law firm who provided one within minutes. Only after letting Tracy Wooden know his services were longer required did he finally produce the letter I had originally reques...ted - it was too late. When I asked for a refund of my deposit for services never fulfilled, they refused. Mr. Wooden kept nearly $200 of it. He claimed he spent 5+ hours drafting the offer letter, a form that takes less than five minutes to complete. Furthermore, I never actually received the letter. In our final conversation Mr. Wooden told me that in his years as a real estate lawyer, he's never heard of an "offer letter". Very dishonest law firm! I had a much more positive and enjoyable experience using one of the many other real estate firms located around Chattanooga. I strongly encourage using a different firm!
