R. Jonathan Guthrie

I never needed an attorney before. I saw good reviews for Jonathan and decided to go with him. I’m glad I did. From the beginning and throughout the case, Jonathan was intelligent, ethical, thorough, and set reasonable expectations. I chose to stay in communication with him chiefly via e-mail, ...although he was readily available via phone or office meetings when needed. During our initial meeting he laid out realistic expectations for the case, which was a good thing. The next step was to research similar cases so as not to cause me to spend money taking a case to trial that had no chance. I really appreciated that. After the research hurdle, there were multiple key steps. Involving those key steps, I believe his strategy on how to approach the case was both intelligent and correct. Jonathan was also quite diligent in completing things, being my advocate, and keeping me updated in a timely fashion. I think all of this helped lead to settlement. During settlement negotiation itself, Jonathan again gave good advice--and options--throughout that process. Everything considered, I was very satisfied with the end result. Though I was motivated, it was still tough for me to go to an attorney and build a case. Via his professionalism throughout many months, Jonathan helped make it more palatable.
