Mr. Aaron Daniel with Legal Aid of East Tennessee was a true blessing during one of the most stressful times our family has ever faced. My father is in a wheelchair and was being pushed toward eviction over online portal issues and a small balance. We were terrified at the thought of him losing his h...ome. Mr. Daniel went above and beyond from the very beginning. He showed up to court on my father’s behalf so he didn’t have to endure the physical hardship of attending, communicated with us every step of the way, and made sure we understood our options. Then, unexpectedly, he took it a step further by helping secure a flex loan to quickly resolve the back rent and smooth things over with the landlord. Because of his compassion, dedication, and swift action, my father kept his apartment and our fear of homelessness was replaced with overwhelming relief. Although his services were free due to my father being on disability, he treated our case with urgency and genuine care. We will never forget what he did for our family. His work truly makes a difference in this community. Highly recommend.
