I have used different lawyers in the past for various reasons. However, for my recent divorce I worked with two. I fired my first lawyer and obtained Mrs. Blackwell. The first lawyer sat on the divorce case for a year, I paid out over $7, 000, met only twice and never filed any papers with the courts.... I met with Mrs. Blackwell, within 72 hours had papers filed and a copy in the hands of the soon to be ex. Six months later we were divorced. There were a few set backs along the way but that was not due to the Blackwell Law Firm...it was due to the soon to be ex dragging his feet. I did not pay out no where near the amout that was paid to the first lawyer.
