Lawrence B. Hammet II (“Beau”) is 59 years old and original native of the Commonwealth of Kentucky having been born and raised in Paducah, KY. Beau moved to Nashville with his family in the late 80’s to commence his practice of law. Beau handles a number of different high profile litigation matters cases pending Federal and state courts, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution processes. Beau's experiences have lead him to litigate matters in Tennessee, Alabama, as well as other states throughout the south and mid-west. In addition to litigation, Beau handles transactional work with various clients, including the preparation of necessary documents to launch and form entities, preparation of various documents and instruments necessary for the sale and purchase of businesses, preparation and counseling of business owners with respect to acquisitions as well as shareholder, partner and member matters. Prior to entering the legal profession, Beau spent several years in management of a family owned construction business that focused on heavy and highway construction in the southeast region of the United States. Beau’s experience ranged from project management through regional management of various projects and undertakings. Beau earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1980 and his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, 1989. Beau and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters, who were born, raised and educated in Nashville, Tennessee.
