Elder Law of Nashville

Ms. Moss and her Team are excellent. When my husband was hospitalized and needed long term care they went to work immediately to help me with his needs. Janel Heflin LCSW stayed in touch daily with me and the hospital staff to facilitate the transition to new residence. She is a calming presence and ...very professional. I would recommend Elder Law for families needing assistance with their loved ones long term care.

Very dissapointing!

Hired to handle the affairs of my elderly parents. I truly feel she was only about the money and once the fee was paid she was non-existent. I was really pleased with the guidance provided by Bryson Eubanks. He seemed to genuinely care over and beyond just the money. He is no longer with her prac...tice and it took multiple calls and several misleading responses from her office before this info was given to our family.

Choose Barbara and Her Team!

Barbara and her team assisted our family with Tenncare eligibility for long term care for our Mom. They also upgraded our Power of Attorney documents and were available to answer all of our questions. When we needed our Mom to sign documents, they brought them to the nursing home and accommodated ...our schedule needs. I, along with my family highly recommend Barbara Moss for all of your elder care needs.

Fantastic Lawyer!!

My brothers and I hired Barbara's firm to advise my parents and revise their outdated, out-of-state wills. We attended the free informational presentation, then Barbara and Bryson met with us at no charge to review the old wills and advise us on short and long-term planning. They presented the revisi...ons prior to our second meeting for our review, then met us for the signing with no waiting or surprises. The part where we felt like Barbara earned her money was in dealing with our Dad, who was ornery and somewhat oppositional. She clearly explained each section of the new wills, why changes were made, and what each change would mean. She answered his questions respectfully and thoughtfully, to his apparent satisfaction. We were charged exactly what we expected to pay. (Full disclosure: I do IT work for Barbara as a contractor. I chose to work with her because I saw how well they treated clients who were sometimes there when I was working, and because of the competence and professionalism I witnessed from her staff)

Outstanding service

I recently experienced a death in my family. I sent Barbara a text regarding a legal issue and she responded to me even while she was on vacation! I would absolutely recommend her.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
