Jillian Collins Mastroianni

Jillian Mastroianni focuses her practice on trust and estate matters, real estate law, and business entities.

She began her undergraduate studies at Stanford University and then transferred to Dartmouth College where she was named a Rufus Choate Scholar. At Dartmouth, Mastroianni was awarded the Pray Modern Language Prize. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude.

A Russian Language and Literature major, Mastroianni undertook additional studies at Middlebury College and St. Petersburg State University in St. Petersburg, Russia, before taking a position with an international adoption agency. As part of the “Russia and Waiting Children” program, she developed relationships with pre-adoptive families in order to find homes for difficult-to-place children.

Mastroianni then moved to Manhattan, where she worked in the marketing and public relations department of Chelsea Piers, a sports and entertainment complex located along the Hudson River.

Mastroianni attended Vanderbilt Law School and interned for the Honorable Jennifer Coffman, then-Chief Judge of the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. At Vanderbilt,  Mastroianni was awarded the James W. Cuminale Book Award for excellence in the study of Corporations and Business Entities.

An accomplished runner, Mastroianni won eight New York state championships in high school and was part of the Stanford University team that took 3rd place at the NCAA Cross-Country Championships. Since graduating from college, she has competed in seven marathons, including the Boston and New York City marathons. In Nashville, she finished as the 3rd female in the 2010 Country Music Marathon and won the inaugural Nashville Women’s Half Marathon.

Mastroianni currently competes as a member of The Athlete’s House Racing Team, and, in her spare time, she volunteers with Weimaraner Rescue of the South, from which she adopted her dog and favorite running partner, Oliver.
