Unless you are a high profile person, Ms Palermo is not really interested in your case. During mediation, she took calls from high profile clients, rather than discuss our strategy for my case as I requested. She later stood in front of the judge and stumbled through her presentation of my case while... an associate stood behind her and whispered in her ear as to what to say. Opposing counsel was able to do many things that Ms. Palermo told me that they would not be able to do, simply because she was not prepared. The parenting plan her associate wrote was so poorly written and so vague in its contents that another judge in another state has even said she can't interpret it. It has only been in post divorce proceedings with another attorney that I have been able to experience what a good attorney is.
