My name is Laura. I wrote a review for Mrs. Thompson about a year and a half ago. At the time, I knew I was impressed with Mrs. Thompson and her legal assistant, Mrs. Erin Hunnicutt. They were both kind, truly caring and more importantly, they were great listeners! I can now say, a year and a hal...f later, I made the best decision for myself and my husband in choosing her to represent him in federal court. Our former lawyer was not very informative and consistently tried to get my husband to take a plea deal. Mrs. Thompson, however, educated us on the different options with which we were faced. When we finally made our decision to go to trial, there was nothing she wouldn't do to clear my husband of the horrific crime for which he was accused. She believed in his innocence and worked tirelessly to preserve it. Mrs. Thompson is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the law and even better at devising a strategy to bring about positive results. One attribute I found to be very effective is Mrs. Thompson ' s ability to think outside the box. I believe her novel or unconventional ideas are what set her apart from other attorneys. As a client of Mrs. Thompson, I highly recommend her legal expertise to anyone who needs someone to believe in them or listen to them. She and Erin really do care about their clients. Without Mrs. Thompson ' s help, my husband would most likely be in prison today for a crime which he did not commit. My husband has been accused of a horrific crime which he did not commit. We have had representation now for almost five years, practically void of any real communication between us and them. She listened intently to what my husband and I had to say. As time has progressed, I have come to realize that she really loves her job and really cares about her clients. She wants the best outcome for them and for their families. With her, there are no political games. Mrs.Thompson is always informative and is extremely knowledgeable and competent with regard to the law. She actually came to our home and spent several hours of her time speaking with us and with our family. Mrs. Thompson knows that whatever affects my husband, affects his family. She knows the importance of informing the entire family of the law and the possible effects different outcomes of the case may have on the family. Mrs. Thompson wants my husband and his family to be well-informed before a life-changing decision is made. Before meeting Mrs. Thompson, my husband and I were at a loss. All hope had disappeared.
