Hired this lawyer on a recommendation, to review a commercial business contract. We had to close on the property within a set time. The seller was in Georgia, the property in Tennessee and the sale was to be governed under Georgia law. He stated he was not brushed up on Georgia law and without inform...ing us, he spent 5 hours reviewing the law of that state (charging $200 an hour) and informing us that he was not licensed in the state of Georgia and told us not to sign. He would not promptly return phone calls or reply to e-mails. I can understand if he had told us to hire another attorney, but he seemed clueless. After returning $200 from the $2500 retainer, we were back to square one. We hired a more competent local lawyer, who completed the work for a quarter the price. I would never recommend this incompetent lawyer to anyone.
