My Most devastating life experience

I met with Mr Turner regarding a custody case with hopes of getting visitation rights with my 2 girls in the summer of 2013. We agreed to me giving him 2 debit card payments of $500 to total $1000 for a retainer. Our agreement was that I would keep adding money to the retainer for his sevices over ...the next couple of years. When I got the majority of the money saved then he would start the process. He promised me that my money would be safe with him until I saved up enough to start. He was suppose to take two $500 increments over the next 2 days for a total of $1000. Because my debit card would only let me access $500 a day. He took out $500 on a monday then took another $500 on a Tuesday. This was suppose to be all the money that he was suppose to take out of my checking account. I went to go put gas in my car on a wed and my debit card wouldn't work. I called my bank. I found out that my checking account was empty. They said I had $250 taken out of my checking account from Turner Law firm. They said the law firm tried to take more $ out but they couldn't because it was all the money I had in there. I did not give them permission to take the extra $250 out but they did it anyway. Apparently they tried to take out more money than we verbally agreed to. Because of this I was left stranded in Nashville with no money in my checking account. I became very sick soon after. I was in and out of the hospital for the next 2 years. I was unable to work and I couldn't pay any of my living expenses. I had to move in with family until I could get well enough to work again . I received a letter from Turner Law firm stating that they were taking money from retainer account with them. I tried and tried to call them but they only take emails for discussing money matters. They ended up taking 100% of all the money that I was trying to save to get visitation rights with . I am still having health problems to this day which is 7 years later . I received nothing for the $1250 that I gave them. I am still not able to see my girls . This was the most devastating experience of my life. I still to this day break out in tears when I think of how they treated me. Make sure that you read all the details of any contact that you sign with them. Don't take their word for anything. Read the contract. What they told me and what the details of the contact were two different things. This was the hardest lesson that I ever learned in my whole life.

40,000 dollars and 4 years later NEVER been to Court!!!!!

I hired Turner, in 2015 for child modification case . I paid over 40,000 dollars and still owe 9000. I have never been to court , and when I finally fired them and got a new attorney they file a non suit , meaning my case had to start over AGAIN!! My new attorney has discovered Turner law charged me ...for things they never did. My child is in a abusive home and these people caused him to suffer longer!!! When my child is safe I will take action against TURNER LAW!!

shady attorney stay clear!!

I hired this attorney back in 2012 for a parenting plan modification. He was never the one who came to the courthouse sending one of his helpers who had no clue what was going on. When we went for mediation he sat on his phone the entire time telling me that it was up to me on what I wanted to do. ... Me and my ex-husband came up with an agreed parenting plan both of us had our initials on it all it needed to be was filed with the courts. Every time I called I got the same line waiting on the judge to sign. After forgetting about it (still owed them money and was making payments) I took the forms I had to get the state to help enforce child support payments just to find out they NEVER filed it with the courts and the courts CLOSED my case because NOTHING had been done with it. Fast forward 5 years later and I get a letter from another attorney wanting to take me to court for none payment for services that I never received in the end. Take my advice and pay the price for a GOOD attorney this one doesn't care about the outcome and NEVER contacts you. He shouldn't even be in law they need to take his license away.

Felony case

Advised me and took control and handled my case like I never could expected!!! Incredible!!! Took great care and didn't even act like it was a big deal even though it was a felony charge. He IS MY attorney!

Looking For A Lawyer

Rob Turner's office is made up him and 4 junior lawyers. I hired his office for a Divorce back in April of 2012. It took the office til June 2012 to serve my wife. Now in all fairness she did not want to get divorced and she was the one cheating, so she would not expect the papers. They never kept me... informed on what was going on with the papers being sent outI didn't know. Every timed I called to see what was going on, I would be placed on hold, for a long time, then after waiting they said they would call me back tommorrow and they would not. Even when I made appointments they wouldn't have time for me. So when I finally got a Mediation date in March 2013, they sent me with a guy named Brad Frakes. Of course we could not settle in mediation. When I had to fill out my Income & Expense Statement this guy Brad told me to put my post 9/11 G.I. Bill money , even though it is for education, and the gross amount that I get from a rental unit, it should have been the net after I pay the mortagage and property manager. So when I went to a hearing on May17, 2013 hearing about lite support payment this guy Brad didn't say anything for my defense, he let her Lawyer paint me as an ***hole and I had to pay a "Good Faith Payment" of $500.00,until we could show that she was working, which was gonna be in 2 weeks. I had a P.I. 's report on her that she was working and was living with another man. He sent out subponea's for the boyfriend and my P.I. for the next hearing when I asked him not to. Long story short the judge did not call any of my witnesses and my wife quit her job when the boyfriend got the subponea and moved back home with her mom, and I got stuck with a lite support payment and her attorney's fee's, that I can't afford on top of my attorney's fee's. And no date for a trial. Then Brad leaves the office and they give me a lawyer that has four years experience none of it with Divorces. At that point I hired a new lawyer, because I got tired of my lawyer working against me. In my opinion if you are a man and you are going through a divorce and don't get Rob Turner himself DON'T go to his office for a Divorce. Shop around pay the money for a GOOD Lawyer, in the end you'll be better off. Don't get Brad Frakes he SUCKS and he will not listen to you! My point is this office is a business and they didn't seam to care about me, and my situation.
