I hired this firm to represent me on an appeal concerning a ruling in juvenile court. I won the ruling but the attorney by the name of Emily Pfeiffer, who is no longer active at that firm did not follow up to see where I stood on child support payments, and when the final order was drafted the court ...was under the misconception that I owed $10,000 and back child support which was paid at the end of the year prior which put me back in a position to owe child support arrears that I’ve paid already. Also, I was very detailed at what I wanted because opposing party was going after me for $20,000 in attorney fees I also wanted appealed and council representing this firm did not follow up, but left me in a position to get garnished by opposing counsel and insisted on me paying my $800 balance with them , when the job was not finished. Rob turner also garnished my wages for the remaining balance and left me in debt, leaving me to do my own footwork and prove to the court that my arrears have been paid would cost me three years of wasted time. I reached out to the firm to have this taken care of on a walk-in visit and a lady by the name of Chelsea Stevenson literally lied to me for six months straight after I explained to her in detail what was going on and had me under the impression things were getting resolved when they weren’t. After I had proven my case to the court as of recent I sent the firm the updated order to show them. I wasn’t lying and have not heard from any of them, that is “Rob Turner“ and “Chelsea Stevenson“ who used a personal matter concerning my ex-wife as leverage from me not contacting her and said I was harassing her after she surrendered her personal number to me to keep in contact with her. Absolutely nothing got done, and this firm is horrible in representing anyone, but will take your money immediately. I paid the full balance for 3 court appearances on my appeal in the dollar amount of $4000. This firm should be shut down by the bar of Nashville literally . They’re a bunch of liars and do not have the people in their best interest. They care nothing of their reputation and left me in shambles. Rob Turner is a crook and from what I was told he had a life-threatening accident from falling off of balcony, it’s not to wonder if someone threw him off with how his firm conducts business.

Go find other representation. Do not let the urgency of your situation put yourself into a position where you end up further taken advantage of by this law firm. $11k down the drain, crappy advice, lack of engagement & communication, missed deadlines and they contributed to prolonged suffering. The a...ttorney I was assigned was nowhere to be found unless it was to bill another retainer and receive that $$$. Do NOT hire these people. They will manipulate you and string you along to get more money for themselves with zero results for your case. They did it to me and every other person here warning you. I have been trying to fight a custody case for 3 1/2 years and in the 3 1/2 years ive had over 7 attorneys and haven't gotten no where. Now we are so deep in the case that there is nothing they can do because of how long its been now asking for current evidence. through this time i've done their jo...b and mine.. They charge for everything such as communication as if they communicate with you. I have to ask for updates and chase the lawyer to find out they havent done anything. Im over this company and I wouldn't dare ever go through this company again. For what's its worth I was better off defending myself. SERIOULY DO NOT GOOOOO WITH THIS COMPANY EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!

I met with Mr Turner regarding a custody case with hopes of getting visitation rights with my 2 girls in the summer of 2013. We agreed to me giving him 2 debit card payments of $500 to total $1000 for a retainer. Our agreement was that I would keep adding money to the retainer for his sevices over ...the next couple of years. When I got the majority of the money saved then he would start the process. He promised me that my money would be safe with him until I saved up enough to start. He was suppose to take two $500 increments over the next 2 days for a total of $1000. Because my debit card would only let me access $500 a day. He took out $500 on a monday then took another $500 on a Tuesday. This was suppose to be all the money that he was suppose to take out of my checking account. I went to go put gas in my car on a wed and my debit card wouldn't work. I called my bank. I found out that my checking account was empty. They said I had $250 taken out of my checking account from Turner Law firm. They said the law firm tried to take more $ out but they couldn't because it was all the money I had in there. I did not give them permission to take the extra $250 out but they did it anyway. Apparently they tried to take out more money than we verbally agreed to. Because of this I was left stranded in Nashville with no money in my checking account. I became very sick soon after. I was in and out of the hospital for the next 2 years. I was unable to work and I couldn't pay any of my living expenses. I had to move in with family until I could get well enough to work again . I received a letter from Turner Law firm stating that they were taking money from retainer account with them. I tried and tried to call them but they only take emails for discussing money matters. They ended up taking 100% of all the money that I was trying to save to get visitation rights with . I am still having health problems to this day which is 7 years later . I received nothing for the $1250 that I gave them. I am still not able to see my girls . This was the most devastating experience of my life. I still to this day break out in tears when I think of how they treated me. Make sure that you read all the details of any contact that you sign with them. Don't take their word for anything. Read the contract. What they told me and what the details of the contact were two different things. This was the hardest lesson that I ever learned in my whole life.

I hired this attorney back in 2012 for a parenting plan modification. He was never the one who came to the courthouse sending one of his helpers who had no clue what was going on. When we went for mediation he sat on his phone the entire time telling me that it was up to me on what I wanted to do. ... Me and my ex-husband came up with an agreed parenting plan both of us had our initials on it all it needed to be was filed with the courts. Every time I called I got the same line waiting on the judge to sign. After forgetting about it (still owed them money and was making payments) I took the forms I had to get the state to help enforce child support payments just to find out they NEVER filed it with the courts and the courts CLOSED my case because NOTHING had been done with it. Fast forward 5 years later and I get a letter from another attorney wanting to take me to court for none payment for services that I never received in the end. Take my advice and pay the price for a GOOD attorney this one doesn't care about the outcome and NEVER contacts you. He shouldn't even be in law they need to take his license away.
