BEWARE!

**BEWARE** My experience with Vance Law Office was incredibly poor. They lost my files, were unresponsive, and I when it was nearing the end of the case Robin refused to present opposing council with verbiage that was a verbatim quote from what the judge actually ruled. Furthermore client privacy w...as violated when she sent me files including ACH account & Routing number from one client, also a completely different clients SSN and property agreement of another client in a packet of documents from my case. (Privacy of multiple clients violated) They were dismissive of the incidents and did not treat it as the security violation it should have been treated as. Based on the behavior I strongly suspect she made backdoor agreements with opposing council in hopes to get more favorable agreements with that individual in more challenging cases. She was forgetful and didn't remember prior conversations we had and advice she had given me at that time. I feel very strongly she advised me poorly in my case and cost me greatly in the modification of my custody agreement. In told she racked up near $20,000 in fees. Terrible representation in all possible measures.

Lawyer

Robin is dedicated to serving all her clients needs. She is honest and doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear for money. She is very ethical, knowledgeable, and a beast in the courtroom. I’d recommend Robin for any lawyer needs.

terrible, dishonest and deceitful

i hired robin vance based on public reviews. clearly i should not have trusted the reviews or her comments about how she would handle the case. she led me to believe she was much more qualified than the opposing counsel and she hated how dishonest the opposing counsel was (which he definitely is). sh...e may very well be qualified to do a good job, but she intentionally did not. first of all, she didn't share her cell phone with me. after she collected her retainer i could not get a hold of her for several weeks with the trial right around the corner. finally i threatened to fire her and she called back. i should have gotten a clue then. during the trial she completely misrepresented me. kept assuring me that she would cover the items of interest later in the trial (yes i had a lengthy, drawn out and painful trial designed to maximize the lawyers' fees). well, she NEVER did bring up the items that i had asked her to bring up. She even had the audacity to say that she DID bring up these items - I have a transcript of the trial in my hands to prove that she did not. My requests to clarify why she didn't do what she said she would do went nowhere - she'll email and charge you for every keystroke on her keyboard, but heaven forbid she address any of your concerns. in fact, she agreed to no alimony without even discussing this with me. she went out of her way to bend over backwards to the other attorney, clearly to improve her relationship with the person who has abused me in every possible way. Additionally ms vance is a lazy person you DON'T want on your side. she absolutely would not prepare me for any hearing, claiming that in fifteen years she never had to do this. What??? every lawyer prepares their clients for hearings. other than stupid advice, such as "be on time", "don't smoke during the deposition" she barely had anything to offer. the level of corruption among lawyers is indeed amazing and vance is the champion in that regard. she further told me that she would not overcharge me and would be very generous with her time. Nothing could be further from the truth - as the time went on she charged more and more: every phone call, even for a tiny two minutes would be charged at one third of a hour. receiving fax, sending email another one third of an hour. i literally had to prepare her for every hearing and she'd charge me for it. whoever is intending to hire this person - do yourself a favor and seek a different lawyer. if you're going through tough times and you have to hire a lawyer (the fact that the courts won't even listen to you without a lawyer proves again how corrupted this state is) you don't need additional pain. and if you hire this lawyer, trust me, she will ensure that you hurt even more than before you called her. i am filing a complaint against this lawyer with the board of professional responsibility. i know that the board will do absolutely nothing about it, because the board is just as corrupted - I have contacted them and asked to chastise another lawyer that lied (with the proof of lying), but the board simply sent me a list of other lawyers to hire. however, as a fellow citizen i have to inform others out there how ridiculously dishonest, despicable and useless this attorney is.

The Best

Robin Vance assisted on my divorce case and I could not have asked for any better counsel. She was strong and accretive in Court but compassionate and caring during our one on one meetings. She truly cares for her clients and their wellbeing; she is also a powerful and knowledgeable attorney that ...will fight tooth and nail for each and every client. I found Ms. Vance and her staff to be exceedingly fair and honest in all aspects as well as responsive and supportive throughout the process. She was very conservative with her time while providing exceptional representation. I was always treated fairly and with respect, all communication and case progression was very timely. I, without any doubt or reservation, would highly recommend Attorney Robin Vance. If you want an attorney that gives it her all for every client you can't go wrong by choosing Robin Vance.
