I, overall, got what I wanted as a ruling. However, I did spend a lot of time feeling like I was pleading my case to my own lawyer. She does spend way too much time trying to convince the other side that they should fight harder, even when they are flat out rejecting time with the child.I get that sh...e believes each parent should spend as much time as possible but how does it help the child to force someone into parenting time they do not want? Never mind, that she was my lawyer not his. I had to go out and do my own research and, at the end of the day, she simply has too may clients to give 100% of her energy to any one case.

Kimpi was the mediator for a child custody case for me. She was very friendly, informative, and helpful...in the beginning. As the day went on, she consistently tried to impose her moral standings on us, as well as blatantly take the side of the other party. The other party conceded at the very begin...ning, yet Kimpi spent hours drafting and re drafting a parenting plan, and pleading with us to give in on things the other party had already given in on. It felt less like mediation with the other party, and more like haggling with a lawyer unnecessarily.
