I don’t often write reviews, but David Clarke earned one without question. Our family member had already admitted guilt to aggravated assault and we assumed sentencing was a foregone conclusion. Mr. Clarke immediately went to work: he assembled persuasive mitigation, cited relevant case law, gathered... meaningful character letters from family, friends, and colleagues, and corrected crucial information that had been misinterpreted in court. His courtroom presentation was honest, precise, and deeply respectful. Because of his skill, experience, and relentless advocacy, our loved one received a far more lenient sentence than we expected and left with an invaluable second chance. We are forever grateful and highly recommend Mr. Clarke to anyone seeking a tenacious, compassionate defender.

I contacted this law firm based on the mostly positive reviews i read about Mr. Clarke on google. After consulting with Mr. Clarke concerning my husband's case, he took on the case, went to visit him in less than a week at the facility in which he was being held. A court date was set almost immediate...ly to get the case going. I must say, the communication was spectacular. The firm always answers the phone and when the answering machine kicks in, you are guaranteed a return call if you leave a message. When u speak with Mr. Clarke, he gets right to the case at hand. No small talks such as "how's the weather over there?" Or "you mentioned you just gave birth. Must be tough without your husband. I will do what i can to get him home." It was always a serious, nonchalant type of tone. Not sure if that's a good thing or not for some people but for me, at that trying time of my life, i did need a friendlier, more encouraging, or assuring tone. I appreciate him being on top of the case from beginning to end. Now, due to my husband's lack of trust in the justice system, he didn't want to risk going to trial and spending more time away from his family. I didn't give 5 stars because the offer Mr. Clarke felt he should take, wasn't the best offer. I'm not sure if it was because he was tired of the drawn out nature of the case and was ready for it to end or if he was just dreading the tedious trial preparation for a case that should've been over with months ago. Hell, i was over it myself; but I surely didn't want him to settle for just any offer either. I must say, the DA did drag her feet with this case though. My husband declined two offers from the DA that Mr. Clarke presented to him. Finally, a better counter offer was accepted. Overall, I will recommend this law firm. Their intentions are good and i do believe they read these reviews and try to make improvements to better serve us, the clients.

After being falsely accused and arrested for a DUI 2nd, I felt like no one was going to believe me. Before I hired David, I went into my old attorneys office and told her what happened front to back. Not only did she look as me as if I was lying, all she said was I had nothing to worry about and expl...ained nothing but her price. After time I had so many questions and could never reach her. I finally was fed up and luckily walked into David Clarke's office. He listened to everything I had to say, then explained everything to me without me having to ask one question. My case isn't even over yet and he's already helped it because he knows what he's doing. He has been 100% honest about everything he's said so far. Today I called just to ask his secretary a question about my case and instead of her returning to the phone it was him. Last but not least the price was the last thing he brought up and if I wasn't able to pay it all up front he was willing to work with me. I highly recommend David L Clarke for any kind of legal counseling. He will be the only attorney my family and I will use from here on out.

MR. Clark was an exceptional lawyer. He did the unthinkable with what we was facing . We used him for both a criminal attorney and family case. He kept in constant contact with us updating us on the situation and was very professional. Always was upfront and honest when he thought we should think abo...ut approaching certain aspects of our situation and helped us keep a level head through it all when it didn't seem possible.
