when i hire her she said she was going to fight my case and she had everything under control but she did not . On the court day she got almost 2 hours late. She took my money for doing nothing !!! The communication was horrible! she was always in a hurry and have something going on her personal life ...and that was the excuse not to talk about my case. she has no heart when she takes the money.

She doesn’t return emails, texts. Then you have to call her but she charges $30 for every 15 min. She explains the process half way. I had to ask her to withdraw from my case. She took my money and didn’t accomplished a thing. It took her about six months to schedule court and then it was just to sch...edule another court date. After that I received a bill. I was desperate for help and she didn’t do a thing for me.

Attorney does not get back with you when you call her. Takes your money and tells you she will handle and it will go quickly and then want return phone calls does nothing at all . She is always out of the office. She is rude when you do talk to her and then she still does nothing. Please do not choos...e this Attorney she will take your money and do nothing but avoid you.

Like the above reviewers she told me everything I wanted to hear. Once she got her $3500 retainer, she stopped returning my calls, and "forgot" to show up for the mediation. I finally got her to come one and a half hours later. At which point she didn't even know my son's name. Then she completely we...nt back on everything she told me before getting her retainer. RIGHT IN THE MIDLLE OF MEDIATION! After this fiasco, I asked her for a report of the hours she had spent on my case. Amazingly she had spent over ten hours and hadn't learned my son's name or any of the details of the case. She then broke off all communication with me. I will be reporting her to her employers and most likely the Tennessee Bar Association. In the mean time, Avoid Cherie Cash Rutledge at all costs! Find a good lawyer, they are out there.
