Biography
Amy Farrar is an experienced estate planning and probate attorney, concentrating her practice on all kinds of legal and practical issues related to aging well. Farrar has practiced transactional business and real estate law for over fifteen years, representing small to medium sized businesses and individuals who are looking for strategic and practical legal guidance. She is recognized statewide as a leading Appellate lawyer, handling civil, criminal and domestic appeals. Farrar began her legal career as a Law Clerk for Justice Cornelia A. Clark, during Justice Clark’s first year on the Tennessee Supreme Court. During this time, Farrar gained a deep understanding of Tennessee’s appellate courts and has spent the years since refining her research, writing and oral advocacy her clerkship with the Tennessee Supreme Court, Farrar spent six years at a respected Nashville law firm. There, Farrar gained a wide variety of experience in business and commercial litigation, estate planning, real estate and employment law. She is actively involved in her community, serving in leadership roles on several Boards, and as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church, Murfreesboro. Farrar presents continuing legal education seminars for attorneys across the State on Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Appeals.
