The focus of my practice as a trial attorney is to represent people who have been hurt as the result of a car accident or due to the negligence of a business in having a defective and/or dangerous condition on their premises. I also represent people in family law cases such as adoption, divorces, and child custody issues.
I grew up in Mt. Juliet and graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration. After graduation, I was employed by the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a claims examiner and then subsequently worked for the Wilson County Sheriff's Department as a post-certified deputy before entering law school. While attending the Nashville School of Law, I worked as a legal assistant for J. Stephen Brown P.C., and have practiced there since graduating in 2007.
I believe that my prior career experience provides me with invaluable knowledge and experience in understanding the vast impact that my clients' injuries have on them and their families. I am determined, perceptive, compassionate, and detail-oriented in my representation of my clients.
I currently serve as the President of the 15th Judicial Bar Association and am a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Tennessee Association for Justice. I also volunteer with Tennessee Online Justice and the United Way as an allocations committee member.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children as well as playing golf, softball, cooking, or being at the beach.

Thief
She stole so much money from people she was supposed to represent. Her punishment should have been more harsh, but at least she was disbarred and can no longer practice in TN. She has been having an affair for years, so I wonder if she stole the money to fund the affair.

Incompetent
I have never worked with a less responsive attorney. In addition, she is totally incompetent, dishonest and unprofessional. Run, don’t walk away.

Dishonest
I have delt with Jennifer for several years and it is my opinion that she is dishonest and has not done what she told me she was doing. I am going to file a complaint either the Tennessee Bar. Ann R.
"I highly endorse Jennifer Porth. She is a compassionate and hard-working attorney. I have worked with Jennifer on cases and referred her cases because I know she does excellent work."
"Jennifer Porth is a very intelligent and highly skilled attorney. I have worked with her on several matters together over the past few years. Jennifer is a tenacious attorney who fights hard for her clients to obtain justice. She also practices law in a highly ethical way. I recommend her highly for any personal injury matter."
