As I said, the only good review is the review where the person didn't hire Jay Longmire. I just agree completely with all the negative reviews. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You don't need this guy to take your time and your money. I don't even have time to go into everything this guy d...oes to trick you out of more money.

We had questions about a child support case. The first thing Jay told us was that we did not need to hire him-- we could do it ourselves. That shows that he has integrity; he could have taken our case but he didn't because it wasn't necessary for us to use a lawyer. He walked us through the child sup...port document we had and fully explained it and answered all of our questions. He outlined the exact steps we needed to take to move forward. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and no-nonsense (he got right to the point). I would definitely hire him if we need a lawyer in the future.

This guy is a joke. He’s a shyster. He’s arrogant beyond belief, compares himself to a Ferrari... seriously.... He knows everything, even what the judge cares about and doesn’t care about... his words. He won’t let you talk because he’s too busy talking about himself and how good he is...He failed to... tell me that one of his staff members is related to the opposing attorney... I realize lawyers are expensive, but when I pay a guy 350 per hour I expect him to do a few things: care about my case and what outcome I want, be honest about his competence, work in a manner that won’t make me wonder if he’s working for the other side, don’t spend an hour trying to convince me to lay down like a whipped dog and make a deal with the opposition, maybe tell me up front if he employs someone related to opposing attorney.... things like that. I’d bet a paycheck his track record isn’t better than 50%, but unfortunately us normal people don’t get to see a lawyer’s resume because they’re special and expect you to agree to the pay rate they choose and not get to see how good they actually are. Stay away from this guy.

Our entire conversation centered around his accomplishments as opposed to why I was there. Does not come across as very professional. He was recommended by a colleague for a divorce case but was warned his favorite topic is himself. I was looking for a pitbull but found a yapping poodle. Did not ...hire him.
