There is no way to be certain but running is one of the worst options for him to do. As his parent you need to make him stay.

It can not be reduced to a misdemeanor as that time has passed but contact the Expungements division at TBI and see if you meet the requirements.

Don’t talk to your PO and talk to a criminal attorney immediately and turn yourself in to be served with the probation violation.
