Divorce and Custody Lawyer

Lindsey was our divorce and custody lawyer and she was absolutely amazing. I honestly had no clue what I needed to do going into this since I’ve never been divorced before but she helped me with everything, from explaining all the steps to me of how things happen and in what order to helping me come ...up with a great arrangement that works well for me and the other party involved. She definitely kept my best interest in mind the entire time and made sure I got exactly what I needed in a timely fashion and she was more than reasonably price. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a lawyer that works for them and only them.

Never again

I hired this lawyer, and let me tell you I was young and was taken advantage of because she failed to explain custodial parents laws and options . She wasnt thorough and failed to fight for me. She basically burnt me because my lack of custodial parents laws . She said I couldn't claim my daughter... every other year and basically was on the other lawyers team. I would let a court appointed lawyer if that was possible if that tells you anything. Still to this day I'm burnt when I owned my house and had daycare for my daughter. She switched sides basically for the woman. Telling me the judge wouldn't go for my opinions and it would cost me more money and we wouldn't get split custody . This was in 2010. She's a lie and doesn't make good decisions and will have you in a bind if you are young and don't know laws. If you want results, use another lawyer don't get burnt because your lack of knowledge!!!!!

I could have walked in court by myself and had the exact same outcome

Basically it's just a job is what it felt like I paid 900 bucks to do exactly what I could have done on my own if I would have just simply walked in to court.. my recommendation is do not bring Lindsey Irwin with you to court....

Hired her to handle my fraud/ contract with car car dealership

I would never never recommend Lindsey to anyone. She definitely dropped the ball on a lawsuit I filed against a car dealership. At first she seemed very knowledgeable however she was horrible at keeping me informed and updating me on the status of my case. Because of her I did not win my case. I lost... my case simply because I did not have a copy of my phone records. I would have never thought the judge would have asked for these, but she should have known what they were going to look for. The judge was definitely ruling in my favor however I did not have the phone records I needed. In the judge's own words, he told the other party that they were lucky I did not have those papers because they would have been paying me $50,000.00 in punitive damages. After being severly depressed bc of everything i was going through I called her to see if the judge would give us time to get the records. The judge gave us 30 days to get the phone records. After trying myself retrieve them from tmobile they said they needed a subpoena. After trying to contact her several times she said she would call and never did. Shebwas in vacation the last week I had left to get the records and she never called me back.... she is very unprofessional and lacks drive. She even called me one time asking if i ever paid her for services when i came to visit. She made me send her a copy bc she did not beleive me. I have not given uo on my case although this was almost 3 years ago. She seemed stumped in the court room as if she had nothing to say, i was embarrassed I hired such a young un professional attorney. Do not recommend her AT ALL!
