Allen grew up in Enterprise, Alabama graduating from Enterprise High School. Prior to the pursuit of higher education, he served in the United States Army as a mechanized infantryman. Upon fulfilling his military commitment, he attended college at Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems in 2000. He began a career in information technology working as an administrator of distributed systems and applications at the Judicial Data Center located at the Supreme Court of Alabama. There he provided network and system access to the judicial circuits located throughout the state. Prior to attending law school, Allen’s career progressed to an analyst with a major credit card processor where he helped deliver software solutions to the financial industry throughout the United States and Europe.
While enrolled in law school Allen joined a fortune 200 insurance carrier where he progressed through several positions ranging from an analyst to project manager while commuting to law school. In 2008 Allen graduated from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University.
Allen’s diverse background uniquely sets him apart in that he has the first hand understanding of the daily struggles endured by many in America’s workforce. As a result he understands the need for and provides a sincere, compassionate, and caring service.
Allen is a member of the Alabama State Bar, American Bar Association, and the Alabama Volunteer Lawyer Program. He is also admitted to practice in the Middle District of Alabama.
