Jackson Brett Harrison

Mr. Brett Harrison has to be the worst attorney EVER! He doesn't listen, talks over you and doesn't show up for meetings that HE scheduled.. He is full of excuses. He was paid $1000 for no work and I had to find another attorney. He said that he would refund part of the money but it has been 2 month...s and he kept all of the money.

I hired this attorney in 2013 to do a simple divorce decree modification. He was my attorney on retainer for almost a year and did absolutely nothing to further my case. He was lazy, dishonest, & irresponsible. He is too lazy for his own good and gets nothing done. He is so unorganized and irresp...onsible that he lost my personal & legal papers. I still have no idea where they are or who has them. He most likely sent them to someone else. I believe this because, when I asked for all of my papers back, he sent me a packet full of someone else's papers! It had all of her personal info., social security number, child support records, financial documents, etc. in it. I sent the papers to the correct person because I'm honest and she was very appreciative, but understandably upset. She said that he had given her the run-around as well and done nothing for her case either. This tells me that it wasn't just a one time thing with me. I sent the papers directly to her rather than back to Mr. Harrison because I knew that if he had the papers back he would try to cover it up and lie to her about it. He tried lying to her even after I sent her the papers. Once she told him that I had sent her the papers and she was holding them in her hand, he told the truth. He had no other choice. Mr. Harrison says he's going to do something with your case but never does it. He lost the amounts of payments that I had sent him and didn't even know how much I had sent him. I asked for an invoice and receipts and he sent me something that had nonsense stuff on it that he had supposedly done, such as "Made phone calls.", or "Read over papers." just so he could say he had spent the money and needed more. In reality, I had this man, Mr. Brett Harrison, as my attorney for almost a year and he did absolutely NOTHING to further my case in any way. I was just as far away from a resolution after I fired him as I was when I hired him. I was probably actually worse off, and out of $2000. Once I insisted on a full refund or I would file an official complaint with the state bar, he sent me a refund check for the amount I had paid him. Even that check amount was wrong! Take my advice, stay away from this man and don't pay him a penny!
