Michael C. Bonafede

I hired this lawyer through my Employee Assistance Program to represent me for bankruptcy. Due to his mistakes, he has cost me over an additional $5K. We filed in April and his mistakes continue to haunt me; I just found out today (November 16), that he never affirmed my car, which was a main purpose... of me filing to use to reestablish my credit. Also found out less than a month ago from the bankruptcy trustee that his miscalculated the numbers on my Trustee Information Sheet he submitted, causing me to owe an additional $300. He turned my case into an "asset case" and now the court is taking my entire 2017 tax refund. If I could give this man 0 stars, I would. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!

Here is a man with NO ethics, As our family lawyer he did wills and consulted on other matters. When we split up rather then excuse himself as any honest lawyer when one of the parties objected he continued to act as a lawyer for one party and used info that had was discussed when he was my lawyer... in court. Did not work, but shows you his TRUE ethics.... NEVER Trust this guy!

Michael definitely has my recommendation. He has represented me more than once and is always courteous, professional, and very personable with a desire to help his clients.
