Elliott Owen Lipinsky

Elliott Owen Lipinsky is a Selma, Alabama attorney and former prosecutor who represents individuals and families in personal injury, wrongful death, and criminal defense matters. His practice serves Dallas County, communities throughout West Alabama’s Black Belt, Montgomery, and the River Region.

For injured clients and families, Elliott handles serious car, truck, motorcycle, and pedestrian crashes, premises-liability matters, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, and disputes with insurance companies. His criminal defense work includes felony and misdemeanor charges, DUI, drug and gun allegations, theft, violent-crime cases, appeals, and expungements.

Before entering private practice, Elliott prosecuted cases in Alabama’s Fourth Judicial Circuit and later served as a prosecutor in Tuscaloosa and Wilcox Counties. That experience helps him evaluate how a case may be investigated, charged, and presented in court.

Elliott graduated from the University of Alabama, has practiced in Alabama since 2013, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. He also teaches a law school course on criminal procedure and wrote the illustrated children’s book Space Pup: The Adventures of Elrod Cannon.
