mrs gulley was hired for a probate case in dec. of 2014 she got my information did not call and would not answerphone voice mail is always full so you can't leave a message. when i did get her i had to call form a number she did'nt know still have'nt got my paper work may have to take her to court to... get it back

I was referred to Darlett Lucy through a co-worker to file for a divorce. When I met with her and gave her the information, she said that she wanted 385.00. That was November 28, 2014. My husband signed the papers and sent them back to her. It is now 7/11/15, and no divorce was completed. I call, and... her voice mail is always full which means that she doesn't even listen to her messages. She claims to have tried to contact me and she has not I have two phones. And neither has received a message from her. I called and complained to her and she keeps changing prices. She even got mad with me for telling her that she is wrong! When you receive money in exchange for service, the service should be completed. It was not.

When you hire someone to represent you it is expected that they would provide you with the best service possible. Ms Lucy "represented" me in a case a while ago; (when I say "represented", I mean she took her retainer and barely showed up for the court date.) as of today, I don't think she even knows... what the outcome of that case was. I had to find out for myself from the other party. That was totally unsatisfactory. Once I called her for some legal advice, none was given. I was on my own. What was I paying her for?? I would've done a much better job representing myself. Needless to say, I would not recommend her to anyone (anyone I cared for). Ms Lucy, if you're not going to put up a fight for your client, please don't take their case; recommend someone who will. Also know that I don't blame her completely for that terrible outcome. Thy will be done.
