Horrible attorney as well as a horrible person. An attorney is supposed to represent his Client's best interests and work for them, not the prosecution. My fiancee is going to a treatment facility 5 hours away and the Judge said he would sign off on the transport order for her to be released the nigh...t before to get her belongings/affairs in order since she's going to be gone for a year. Mr. Hawks wrote the order for her to be released at 8am and she must be at treatment at 1pm (5 hours exactly) because he didn't think she should be allowed the opportunity to get her things in order. That is definitely not representing his Client's interests in any way. I am filing a complaint with the BAR association tonight.
