Honest and hard working law firm

Would recommend Mr. Lassiter to any family member or friend. Without the help of him and his staff, I would not have been approved for my disability benefits. So glad I chose Mr. Lassiter!

Horrible

Never even spoke to Mr. Lassiter personally even after he took my case. They said he would speak to me a few days before my appeal hearing. (Seriously?!) Thought that was especially tacky and unprofessional. Did not use him and won my case. This lawyer was very unprofessional and unhelpful. I do not ...recommend.

Since our business didn't represent this person, it doesn't seem fair to label the business as "Horrible". If this person had chosen Mr. Lassiter's office for legal representation, the person would have experienced the law firm's thorough preparation for all aspects of a successful representation of a disabled person's claim. It appears that this person must have gotten confused with who he discussed his case with. Mr. Lassiter's office does not do business in the way described. Clients are encouraged to call in to discuss their cases frequently, and friendly, professional staff answer most questions. Mr. Lassiter is always available to speak with clients by phone, at any time needed, to discuss any concerns. Additionally, with an appointment, inhouse meetings are available as needed. It is the firm's philosophy that good preparation, well in advance, is the key to winning. The firm's goal on every person's claim is to be completed with the preparation for a hearing well before the date of the hearing. Thus the firm not only does not do business as described, but is quite the opposite. The firm certainly does not depend on just starting on case preparation a few days prior to the hearing.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
