Brenton Cooper McWilliams

I chose this firm after reading great reviews and expected to meet with Mr. McWilliams, but I was placed with someone I didn’t know. She spent the first 5 to 10 minutes talking about the Spanish Fort office closing instead of my trust. None of my questions were answered. She kept telling me she would... let me know in the next meeting. I was charged $700 for a short “trust review” but received no written advice or findings. During the meeting, I noticed a person named **** listed as an executor, someone I’ve never heard of. When I asked, she said she didn’t know why it was there. After I questioned the charge the next day, the firm emailed a new version of that document with the name removed, which raises serious concerns about professionalism. Their written response also misrepresented what happened. I left the meeting feeling completely taken advantage of.

Our first meeting with Mr. McWilliams was a consultation. He made an effort to meet with us at the office of our choosing. He was thorough, professional, and made sure that we had ample time to review legal documents, ask questions, make changes and amend anything that needed amending. Our experien...ce with him took place over two meetings and several Internet interactions. I'm pleased and would definitely work with him again.
