Arlene Marceau Richardson

Arlene was my COURT APPOINTED attorney in Fall 2024. I paid number attorneys during my civil turned criminal cases(S) to represent me and was on the verge of bankruptcy. I was awarded a court appointed attorney. I couldn't dare call her a " public defender" because that can be derogatory. She started... off slow and I was like oh no. Now I know her pace was definitely because of the care she gives to each individual case, PAID or publicly appointed. She is calm and cool in the face of complicated issues. Ie a male witness verbally abused her in court. She outwitted him without changing her tone. She does her research and commands the court. She gracefully "fights" for her client. She made an experienced Judge stop and think during the trial. She's smart, unafraid and extremely competent. Protect her at all cost. She definitely pulled up the blindfold on the lady of justice eyes.

I was on Ms. Richardson's first jury 18 years ago. It was a criminal case and she was excellent. Since that time she has represented individuals and groups in county government and consulted with me, and I find her still excellent! She is calm and cool in the face of complicated issues. She doe...s her research. I've seen her up against the big boys, and she doesn't turn a hair. Smart, unafraid and extremely competent.
