Great lawyer

I've used Mr Gullahorn on several occasions. He knows a lot about the law and all the local courts are very familiar with him which helps a great deal. Here in small town Alabama they will get REALLY mad if you try to use some "hotshot" lawyer from outside of the area and sometimes, even though you h...ave a great lawyer, the outcome won't be good because of this. I'm a recovering meth addict with 17 years clean now, but at one point I was looking at 4-20 years for supposedly stealing a truck and trying to hit someone with it. It didn't help the states case that the only witness was someone who had been to prison for bulgary and had killed someone but got a sweet deal and did less time for that than the murder. I sometimes wonder what would have happened had I went with a court appointed lawyer and not hired Mr. Gullahorn.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
