Patrick Allen Jones

I hired Mr. Jones in Dec. of 2016 to file a simple CS modification. I paid him $2000 on top of the $60 for a consultation. I fired him in the first week of Dec. of this year and he sent me a bill for $3600 additional. A week after I received that bill I received another one for $9600. I was told th...at his daughter died recently and that he has not been the same since. I can certainly emphasize with the man for being broken up over loosing a child but, he should not continue to act like he is okay and continue to betray the public trust. My calls to his office have been ignored. When I have spoken to him he is short and abrasive. I have very good evidence that he has communicated more with my ex and her attorney (Amy Slayden) than he has with me. I fired him the first week of December this year and hired a lawyer to try and clean up the mess he made of my case. He is refusing to transfer my evidence to the new lawyer until I satisfy the bill he has conjured up since I fired him.My advice to anyone seeking a lawyer in Madison county is to skip this man over. He has cost me not only the $2060 that I paid him but also. $1500 I had to pay the new one and $958 per month in CS that I haven't owed since December 2016. Just don't hire him! You will be sorry if you do.
