It is going to be difficult for me to find the words to express the level of heartfelt gratitude I have toward Mr. Thomas S. McGrath’s law firm. I am a single mother of 2 small children who was seeking to purchase a home and found herself being taken advantage of a Real Estate team out of Madison, Al...abama. They were in the process of trying to manipulate me into buying a home that they had not repaired as promised and time was running for me with my apartment lease. I had to make a decision to stay in my apartment or take a chance on a house that may never be repaired as promised. I knew I could never afford to take on the repairs they were trying to leave behind. I was receiving threats of being taken to court for not wanting to purchase this home and with their disregard for my situation could have very well lead to the kids and I being homeless. They did not care no matter how much I tried to explain my situation. Needless to say I was scared and was losing hope quickly. I decided it was time to seek legal advice. I hope Real Estate teams who tend to lean toward unfair practices are well aware that there is a lawyer in the area who won’t allow it and is very capable of discerning good and bad real estate practice.
