About Kristi
Biography
From working in a nursing home during law school and providing pro bono legal services to seniors in financial need, to contributing to the work of the Northern California Innocence Project, to representing abused and neglected children as a certified guardian ad litem, Katerra Martin has always advocated for the underserved in our society.
A former professional actress, her powerful courtroom presentations have earned her recognition at national advocacy competitions. She has raised thousands of dollars for academic departments and homeless animals as the president of student associations both in law and undergraduate school. She is passionate about politics, interning in the California Legislature and lobbying her elected officials in California, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Katerra lives with her fiance and their four dogs on a three acre property that they hope to someday make into a sanctuary for abused animals.
