Fantastic Lawyer for DRB

I contacted Adam to represent me through a Navy DRB for an improper discharge from 2010. He gave me a very fair price, walked me through the whole process, was attentive and professional, and in the end he helped me upgrade my character of discharge, reason for discharge, and RE code. I would highl...y recommend him to any service member or veteran who was treated unfairly by their branch and wants to clear their name. Thanks, Adam!

ADSEP

I am a United States Navy Chief Petty Officer stationed in San Diego, CA. I was facing an ADSEP after serving 20 years of faithful military service. My charges were indecent language and dereliction of duty of unbecoming of a Chief Petty Officer. I searched and searched for an attorney to defend me f...or reasonable price. After speaking with Mr. Cumberworth about my case he gave it some thought and called me back to say that he can help me. I broke down in tears because finally I have way forward. He took all the facts and evidence and put together a great package for my defense. The day finally came on 9/11 for us to fight for my life and career. We went in the courtroom and told the truth and I owned up to the bad choices I made. He was tactful and aggressive with the delivery of my redemption, continue to serve, and the three board members retained me. The board consisted of three highly respected Surface Warfare Officers and I could not be so grateful in their decision of seeing all the facts, evidence, and giving me a second chance to serve my country to lead Sailors and Marines. Mr. Cumberworth is and will always be a friend and compassionate attorney who works to get the best results. Thank you Mr. Cumberworth God Bless you and your family.

Life saver

This is a review of Adam Cumberworth as my military attorney. After getting railroaded by an incompetent ADC and a corrupt military prosecutor in a court martial, I talked to several military attorneys. Adam Cumberworth was the only one that was personable and listened without first mentioning money.... I told him about my case and what happened and he explained my options, never pressuring me with a scorched earth alternative. I hired him for a discharge board that in a worse case scenario would have me booted out with an other than honorable discharge. This would have caused me to lose all my military/VA benefits after 16 years of service. Adam did an outstanding job getting witnesses and gathering evidence to present my case to the board. He even caught my Commander, a Lt. Colonel, blatantly perjuring himself to the point he refused to answer any further questions. This not only destroyed the government's case, but showed the lengths the military would go to try and destroy one of their own. The defense he put forward was so compelling and fierce, the 7 member board had no option but to retain me and allow me to medically retire after 15 years of dedicated service. While not cheap, his fees are very reasonable and he worked with me on a payment plan I could afford. Now it's just a waiting game on my conviction appeal decision so I can move on with my life. Had I hired him in the first place, I would have never had the conviction nor the 2 years of destruction the military has inflicted. I could not say enough good things about Adam as his results thus far have saved mine and my families future. If you need a great military attorney, look no further, you have found one of the best there is. Adam, my family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you truly are a blessing.

Complete Rip off and Fraud

I hired Adam for my military discharge upgrade, after he promised success. He was not prepared for the hearing, the communication was horrible throughout, and he was not successful with my upgrade. He also overcharged me for the case. I strongly recommend you stay away from him.

I am extremely disappointed in what you have said, as we know it is not accurate. As you know, I am disappointed in the outcome that happened for you, but that was communicated as the likelihood of the case because the military thought the misconduct was serious enough for a court-martial and punitive discharge. We prepared extensively for your case, including discussing this case for hours together. We had the best game plan possible, but unfortunately, it was not enough. I am sorry the outcome was not what either of us and hope the best for you in the future.
